About Emily Storch, MD
Dr. Storch is an CP and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine Board Certified pathologist.
Dr. Storch received her M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh and her M.P.H. at the Johns Hopkins University. She completed residency in Internal Medicine Residency at Yale University and residency Clinical Pathology at University of Buffalo. She then completed a Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at the New York Blood Center. She then worked with the Food and Drug Administration where she was responsible for approving blood and cellular products used in clinical transfusion medicine patient care. She has joined our department at Brooklyn Methodist as a general clinical pathologist at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, covering general clinical pathology in the areas of chemistry, hematology, microbiology, point-of-care as well as covering the transfusion medicine service.
